Plug-in is an instrumental rock band from Bordeaux, France.

Plug-in was formed in 1998 by fanalo and elmobo... Their mutual and inconditionnal love gave birth to their first 5 tracks EP "#.09", in march 1999. After a few gigs, when drummer Pierre Belleville went to Paris to join the band Artsonic, Plug-in switched to Stand-by mode...

In february 2001, fanalo asked elmobo if he was ok to reform the band in order to open for Bumblefoot for one gig only, the 3rd of March 2001... With the help of Jean-Do Tonietti (drums) and Jean Fontanille (rhythm guitar), Plug-in was brought back to life... We had a hell of a good time with Mr Ron Thal and his band ! Thanks guys, you rule !

In summer 2001, fanalo and elmobo started to work on the new
Plug-in CD, which will be a full length album, featuring many excellent guest musicians ! It should be ready for summer 2002 (muhahaha... ok we're something like one year and a half late).

In november 2002, fanalo and elmobo were hired by Ron Thal to be his musicians for his french tour. After the tour, Jean-Do left. In january 2003, Julio Fonteyreau joined the band as our new drummer !

In october 2003, Jean decided to leave the band to spend more time on his personal projects. It took only one rehearsal to welcome Denis Cornardeau as the new 2nd guitarist.

In July 2004, Julio left the band. His successor has yet to be found :P
